diablo tuned
i got my 05 gto and the guy i got it off of has it diablo tuned. WHICH I AM VERY WORRIED ABOUT i dont think he knew what he was doing!. Wondering if he could mess something up and if so what is the charge for fixing it

Although it is possible to damage a car with the Diablo programmer, it is not very likely. One usually has to make big changes in the programmer in order to cause a bad condition.

I can pull up the tune for free and look to see what has been modified.

As for charging to fix any possible problems, I'd like to know what is done to the car first.

If the mods are simple, then I'd just charge the licensing fee of $100. If you need a full remap from big motor changes, then that will be more. Probably in the $200-300 range.

Still $300 for a full out tune is a great price for what he does.
