Fast tuner frustrations.
I want to vent a bit about how tuners do very little work, and provide as little as possible in search of immediate results.
I'm talking about the PE table. The PE (power enrichment) table is used to determine a set A/F target for the computer under WOT load conditions.

This is NOT a table used to tune WOT.

I see too many tuners inputting arbitrary numbers to get the final output they are looking for. Now granted, this is a VERY fast way of "tuning" a car. But it is a cheap fix, and will lead to issues. Most notably under load that is not true WOT. Under these conditions, the airflow is different, and thus fueling requirements will change.

This table should be set at the target EQ ratio, and the car tuned to that.
