Hello Everyone!Hey guys, might be surprised to see me over here. I'm planning on a few new mods to the Goat and I would like Mike to tune it.
Backstory:
My car was tuned and still is running on the tune from Precision. It runs great, I am happy with it. Jeff has been great. The only issue I have is that it was strictly tuned on the dyno at WOT. A few street sessions were done when I had some type of HPT recorder with me driving, but nothing like the service that proxses offers. Also, my dyno sheet is not smooth curves at all such as Brents or Waynes.
So you might be wondering why I didn't have Proxses tune my car to begin with? Well, I was relatively new to BuckeyeGoats and didn't know anyone from going to meets when I did all the work to my car. I had done a lot of reading about tuning on the big forum, and there were multiple horror stories about peoples friends and what not tuning their cars. Because of this, I just felt more comfortable going to a shop for the work. I didn't know the true capabilities of Mr. Proxses here.
So, questions for Mike.
Jeff had me drill a small hole in my TB for idle issues. I did it because I can easily weld the hole shut and grind smooth. Not a big deal to me. Would you want the TB hole closed? Also my cam is a 239/242 .651 .610 112LSA. Right now it idles at 1000. I would like to get it down to 875-900. Possible?
My car dyno'd 445/403 and it had an intake leak in the intake tube. Once I fixed that it felt stronger. I had a real time with it because the leak was after the MAF and threw the car into safety mode and all kinds of stuff.
If I port the FAST and throw on a Mezeire Electric water pump do you think 460/420 is possible? I might do heads also, but I might save that for another year.
I probably should have talked to proxses before posting this thread, but I figure its a good conversation and activity on the new forum (which BTW is Bad ass)

Oh, and the end result I am looking for out of the car is 490/440 with heads somewhere down the road. Thats why I went with the S2 cam was with the goal of adding heads. Any other major stuff I am leaving out let me know!
